Citizenship Interview Test Preparation

Learn more about the United States and the rights and privileges of its citizens.

This ESL Citizenship Interview Test Preparation class covers the basics of United States history and government as well as the procedures to become a naturalized citizen. It provides students with an overview of the structure of federal, state, county and city governments, and the responsibilities of citizens who live under a democratic form of government. In addition, students will familiarize themselves with the components of the Immigration and Naturalization Service approved Basic Skills Citizenship Examination.

This class is for students with an intermediate level of English proficiency (CASAS score of 211) or higher.
